Day 01: Guwahati – Shillong (120 Kms/ 3 Hrs)
Arrive Guwahati airport. Placard pick up & transfer to Shillong in Meghalaya. Check into Hotel Tripura Castle / similar. Evening at leisure. Overnight.

Day 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong(56 kms/ 1½ hrs)
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee and visit Mawsmai cave - the illuminated cave provide tourist an experience of caving. Myriads of stalagmites and stalactites can be seen all over the caves, seven sister falls, Thangkharang park. Later visit Nohkalikai falls - one of the most striking waterfalls and undoubtedly the highest in Meghalaya. Drive back to Shillong. Overnight.


Day 03: Shillong – Mawphlang - Shillong
After breakfast we will visit Elephant Falls - 12 kms on the outskirts of the city the mountain stream descends through two successive falls set in dells of fern-covered rocks, then drive to the sacred grove in Mawphlang (25 kms/ 1 hr) which is the most celebrated forest-groves of Meghalaya. Held sacred by Jaintias and has a deep insight into Khasi history and religious beliefs. Surrounded by Castanopsis kurzii trees, Sacred Forest is considered the nature’s own museum with a treasure trove of unique flora. The trees seen here heavily loaded with the growth of aroids, pipers, fern-allies and orchids.

Return to Shillong. Evening stroll around Police Bazaar, Shillong’s prime location - where you can find the wares on sale range from electronics to traditional handicraft, modern clothing to handloom items. Overnight.


Day 04: Shillong – Guwahati
After breakfast visit Shillong peak which offers a panoramic view of Shillong, Wards Lake and Lady Hyderi Park. Lunch. Afternoon, drive to Guwahati. We will visit ‘Kalakshetra’ - a place where Assamese history and culture is depicted in a sprawling enclosure. Check in at Hotel Kiranshree Portico / similar. Evening visit market. Overnight.

Day 05: Guwahati – Tezpur - Jorhat (320 kms/ 7 hrs)
Visit Kamakhya temple – one of the greatest Shakti pith in the country. Then drive to Tezpur on the way to Jorhat and visit Cole Park where you can see different sculptures collected from different parts of Assam and Agnigarh which is a historic place and the sculptures there depicting local Assamese folklore. Lunch at Tezpur. Afternoon drive to Jorhat and check in at Sangsua Tea Bungalow. Overnight.


Day 06: Jorhat – Tea Tour + Dasy Trip To Sibsagar (65 kms/ 2 hrs)
Morning go for a tea tour. Then drive to Sibsagar, the old capital of the Ahoms who ruled Assam for 600 years before the arrival of the British into these parts. There are a number of old monuments built by them; the most significant being the huge man made tank ‘Sibsagar’ from which the town got its name. There is a two-storied amphitheatre built by the rulers to enjoy games and sports and dance and music. We will take a round of other interesting places in and around the town. Then return to Jorhat. Overnight.

Day 07: Jorhat Fly Out
Transfer to Jorhat airport for flight to onward journey.
