Shimla
Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh was earlier summer capital of the Brirish Raj in India. This popular hill station is often referred as the “Queen of Hills”, located in the north west of Himalaya’s at an altitude of 7000feet.
The City of Shimla, draped in forests of Pine, Rhododendron and oak experiences pleasant summers & cold, snowy winter. City is also famous for Tudorbethan & neo – gothic style of colonial buildings.
The city is named after goddess Shyamala Devi, an incarvation of Hindu goddess Kali.

Sikkim – Small but BeautifulM
Second smallest state of the country, Sikkim is situated in the eastern Himalayas, covered by astonishing range of pristine natural beauty. Ladakh – A Wilderness Experience
Ladakh – “Land of high passes” is at extreme northern part of India. The region is known as Trans Himalayan region, marks the boundary between the western Himalayas & the huge Tibetan plateau. Unlike the main Himalayas, the Trans Himalayan Mountains are not divided by deep river gorges covering an area of about 1,000 km (600 miles) and having a width ranging from 225 km to about 32 km.

Dandeli is located on the banks of river Kali, known for wildlife sanctuary. Dandeli is home to the most mysterious of the big cats- The Black Panther. Dandeli reputedly the oldest declared game reserve in the country is home for other creatures like flying squirrel, flying snake, flying lizard, variety of horn bills etc. Visit Dandeli to experience the great wilderness, but not in the hope of seeing big games like elephants, sambhar etc.

Bandipur and Mudumalai
Bandipur National Park is India’s one of the best protected areas & is part of Project Tiger reserve. This park is contiguous with Mudumalai National Park, Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary & Nagarhole National Park, all these together known as Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve. Nilgiris Biosphere is home to around 70 tigers & more than 30,000 Asian elephants, along with leopards, sloth bears, gaur ( Indian Bison ), wild boar, wild dog, panther, jackals, array of snakes etc.

Yercaud is India’s one of the least expensive & laid back hill station. But the place is rich in its natural charm. Originally known as “Yericaud” (lake - forest) the Britishers turned it to Yercaud. This little hill station lies in the Shevaroy Hills, in Tamilnadu part of the Eastern Ghats. Unlike the more lush Western Ghats, the Eastern Ghats are generally dry & feature short and rocky hills. Spread over 383sqkm, Yercaud is small enough not to tire you and yet spread out to give you a sense of serenity.
